Daisy Classroom

Welcome to the Daisy class! ( Infant room- 6 months to 24 months)

The Daisy Class provides a safe, nurturing, and calming environment where infants and young toddlers can explore, grow, and learn through developmentally appropriate play. This classroom is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s individual developmental stage while encouraging curiosity and confidence.

Infants are offered opportunities to strengthen their gross motor skills through activities such as crawling, climbing on soft obstacle mats, exploring crawling tunnels, and practicing balance with age-appropriate equipment. A variety of carefully selected toys and materials support early cognitive development, sensory exploration, and social interaction with peers.

Older infants and young toddlers have access to a secure space that allows for more independent movement and exploration, including indoor climbing structures that promote balance, coordination, and strength. Outdoor play is an important part of the day, with sensory experiences such as food-based sensory bins and water tables that encourage hands-on discovery.

Our teachers intentionally plan experiences that engage, challenge, and support each child at every developmental stage, ensuring all children feel safe, supported, and inspired as they grow.
